Church security

Security within the Christian church is a very misunderstood concept.

Many believe that security does not belong in the church; that it somehow undermines God's sovereignty.

We disagree.

The Bible clearly tells us to "...foresee danger and plan ahead..." (Proverbs 22:3), not once, but three times.

Security is not all about guns, guards, and metal detectors.

It is a complete program that, when properly implemented, does not hamper the openness and inviting feeling the church should have. Security is about being prepared and bringing peace.

The Christian Security Network is a national organization dedicated to the advancement of security, safety, and emergency planning for Christian churches, schools, ministries, and missionaries.

The Christian community is at risk and as a whole is behind the curve compared to the secular world in terms of security and emergency preparedness.

We address every day threats such as crime, medical emergencies, disasters such as fire and destructive weather, violent situations and "active shooters", and lost or missing children.

These situations will continue to occur in the Christian church, in the Christian school, at the Christian ministry and against Christian missionaries; we believe that by being proactive, the Christian community as a whole can minimize these risks.

The Christian Security Network brings you the resources, experience, and answers to your needs so that your church or ministry may continue to do the Lord's work.

From the layperson looking for a place to start to the Christian security professional, there is something here for everyone.

We hope you will join us!
