Like everyone else, I get a tired after working long hours.

Sometimes I start wondering if what we are doing at CSN is really making a difference in the Christian community.

I pray and ask for the Lord's guidance and wisdom in this area, and for His strength to keep going.

And then I do a seminar with fellow believers, like the one I just finished in Chicago this past weekend, and it really re-charges my spiritual batteries.

When I spend a day with men and women who are lay people, Church leaders, and Pastors; both volunteers and staff, and I see the desire that God has placed in their hearts to better protect the Christian church so that all may continue to worship in peace and do the Lord's work, I am rejuvenated!

You can just feel people's energy. You can see that they want to learn and bring these things back to their church. I see people drive hours to attend this seminar. They sit for 8 or 9 hours just absorbing the information that is being provided.

At our seminars we see people from all different churches, small and large, all the different denominations, city, country, suburban locations. They all have the same thing in common: they are at risk and they really want to prevent something from happening in their place of worship.

I hear them talk to each other and everyone realizes that they are all not so different when it comes to their safety concerns.

The Bible says in Matthew 5:9  "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God."

Amen to that!

That is what security and emergency planning is all about - this is what we teach; it is not about guns, guards, and metal detectors.

All the security measures and emergency planning procedures that are put into place is about peace. Making sure that every person that enters the Lord's house is free from fear and anxiety. The devil will use anything to distract God's children from Him.

Security is about combating evil at every step, because those who wish to harm God's children and take away what God has provided are evil.

God bless every one of you that have this desire in your heart to combat evil.

Keep fighting the good fight.

Rely on each other.

And most importantly rely on God's strength, guidance, and wisdom to help you through.

In Christ,
