In the next few weeks the Christian Security Network is introducing a new area of our organization that many churches and Christians have asked for - a place to connect qualified individuals with security positions in churches and ministries throughout the country.

The new “jobs” area is meant for churches and ministries that are looking for paid or volunteer staff to serve on their security and safety teams to connect with those who have a heart for this ministry (and serving in this capacity is a “ministry” – be it paid or volunteer).

We have found that many churches, even very large churches, cannot find Christian men and woman who are qualified and/or willing to serve in this capacity. We have also heard from many Christian people who feel that God has placed it on their heart to serve; yet their church does not offer this opportunity.

The system is simple (we hope).

  • Churches and ministries may list what security and safety positions they are looking for free and anonymously!
  • CSN subscribers may access the jobs area in the secure part of the website to view positions.
  • CSN will then connect the applicants who apply and the organization.

As I have said in the past, God gives us all different skills for His glory and clearly states as much in the Bible:

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)

With some people it is a beautiful singing voice, others it is the patience and love to teach children, and others it is administrative, maintenance, or financial skills, or the desire to travel on mission trips – all of which benefit the Christian community in carrying out the Lord’s work.

With others is the servant’s heart to protect lives and property and the church needs to take advantage of those God given talents as they do with all others.

So we hope that this new area will become a valuable service to the Christian community as a whole and we hope that you will take advantage of this new area by spreading the word to churches and ministries that may be searching for people in their area.

Look for more information in coming weeks as we activate this new and exciting service!

And as always, we look forward to your feedback.

In Christ,
Jeff Hawkins
